The small but cosy 3-star holiday home is located in the village of Ober-Werbe within Waldeck near National Park Kellerwald-Edersee in the beautiful Werbe-valley. Here you can relax and enjoy a holiday in a unique natural environment with the views of the Cloister ruins of Ober-Werbe. There are opportunities for hiking, fishing, cycling, horseback riding, scuba diving, sailing, swimming and much more. Our holiday house is only 3 kilometres from the Edersee. Waldeck is about 7 km away. Nearby are the spa towns of Bad Wildungen and Bad Arolsen and the winter sports resorts of Willingen and Winterberg.

The national park town of Waldeck levies a year-round tourism fee to partially cover the expenses for the creation, expansion, maintenance and marketing of the facilities provided for tourism purposes and for the events held for these purposes.

According to our tourism contribution statute, the tourism contribution is €1.00 per day of stay for each person over the age of 14.

Directions

The village of Ober-Werbe is located within the county of Waldeck, which is part of Northern Hesse within the charming and picturesque landscape of central Germany.
From Kassel, head towards Dortmund (A44), take the exit Zierenberg, then take the B251 towards Korbach. Take the exit on left to Waldeck-Edersee and the village of Sachsenhausen. Within 1km just as you enter the village of Sachsenhausen take the first turning on the right (K20) which leads to the village of Ober-Werbe. As you come down the valley and enter Ober-Werbe take the very first turning on the left, the house is located 100 meters ahead on the left. Note: Ober-Werbe is also easily accessible from motorways A44, A5, A7 and A49, as well as the federal roads 251, 252, 253, 450 and 485.
